Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
Romans 12:9-10
Community. Even though it is a buzzword these days, we think it is the life blood of any church.
The Church Gathering (worship) is an important part of church. For most non-Christians, the gathering is their first opportunity to hear about Jesus. But making it the most important part of church means we’re nothing more than consumers of church. Community gives value to the church gathering and to ourselves – it gives us an opportunity to serve and be served. Community isn’t a one way relationship. Everyone has gifts and at Zion we don’t want it to ever be just about what you can do for Zion. Zion strives to be a two way street, offering ways for you to grow in your faith and ways for you to serve out your faith.
